BTW

John (kasploticus) has bought my other PC and is keeping the F@H running on it for me, so if anyone feels like going to the INTRO forum and giving him a welcome to BC, it would be appreciated.

If anyone is using a distro of Linux (ie: Ubuntu, BSD, Kubuntu, Red Hat etc...) you can also run it in the terminal.

Doug
Have you cleared things up on your WU. If not does it look like this:

Posted Image
if it does then the #'s are correct it is a Large WU using large frames that will more than likely be broken down into smaller WU's with regular sized frames. (The last part is just a guess on my part

You want the banner that BlackSpyder is using? BlackSpyder will have to approve your use of it, but it's easy to add it to your signature.

From the top of the page, click on "My Controls", then under 'Personal Profile', click on 'Edit Signature'. In the "Edit your signature" block, insert

Approve??? What???? I would never disallow someone from using my pretty artwork (I like seeing it to much)

On the serious side everyone on the team is welcome to use the ones I've made up or piece together their own from the parts Ive dissected. No need to ask although it is very nice of you to do so.

I finished 2 WU's already (one on my main system and one on my other computer) and my profile hasn't updated yet. I finished it Sunday and I read the log and it said it had sent the file in, but I don't know, it hasn't changed. Does it matter that it was the same WU as the one I did on this system? or do I get points anyway?

Collection server off line
Posted on Thu 26 Apr, 2007 00:28 by Vijay Pande
Network Status We have taken the collection server off line while we work on a major upgrade/overhaul for it. Many WU's were being rejected by the CS and we now know why. We're working on a fix, which will require a mix of hardware and software updates.

Apparently this has been going on for some time. This may explain some of our issues.
