hmmm, i've had another thought which i also hesitated to mention earlier, but well...i had NO idea what F@H was and because of this i didnt visit the page even until the other day by chance..just thought, maybe you could also do another banner like yours with the writing at the bottom flashing somit liiike Folding@home working towards a cure....then flash through all the different illnesses its helping?

Then people will have some idea of what its about...i duno, just a thought, unfortunately i dont think i have the software and definately not the capability to play around myself :flowers: he he.

NICE ONE!! nn23 :trumpet:

edit: oop, its gone onto another page, i left another message before this one btw

Ladies,What's cool about it? Honestly.
1 You can't read all the writing
2 The colours are Deadpan.

What you need is twice as high to make ALL the writing legible.
You need Bright inviting colours, like Folding has for their Cells.

Lenght wise it is spot on.
Clickable an excellent idea, Fozzie. :)

This is only my opinion, but an educated one. :P
Put YOUR colabottles in the dishwasher Doug  :flowers: :trumpet: :inlove:
The point is there is a limit of 100x100 limit that is why I choose for the userbar. Any other suggestions ofcourse are welcomed. I liked the suggestion by tink to put something similar like at CC under the avatar

I put them in the dishwasher, and now they are fogged and I can't see a ting. B) :)
Your Sig colours Fozzie, would be great Camo Paint for a Hummer in case of an Air Strike. :spam:

sorry DTSM I dont do to much with colors but feel free to play with the image yourself.

why will photobucket not accept .xtf (GIMP) type files you lose a little bit of clarity when it forces you to convert to other file types

That's starting to grab one's attention,BlackSpyder.Well Done.
Can you Brighten up the text with a bright colour, and maybe try a blue for the lines, with a similar blue to Jedi's Sig.
I am only relatively new to PC's and haven't learnt this art yet.

EDIT.The blue lines to me would compliment the wave movement, and maybe a Pink, Red or White Text to represent Cells .Just a thought.

Ok. Apparently there is some confusion as to why I'm doing all these different sigs.
Herse My Reasoning:

1) get opinions on what you guys like (DSTM you've been a great source of creative criticism and great idea's I promise to try to get to them)
2) to spur you guys creative sides into editing one of them or even crating your own.
3)For everyone to be able to use one they like not just the finished product for my sig
4)To accustom myself to The GIMP

DSTM you probably know as much as I do about graphical editing (ie i know nothing) but think of this as a good chance to learn (which is what I'm doing)

BlackSpyder, Please don't feel discouraged. Posted Image

I and everyone else on the F@h Team are soooo appreciating all of the effort you are putting into this project!
My graphical editing abilities are zip/nada/non existent,so I can't help out!

Do agree with DSTM about the text and line color in this one.
Is it possible to change?

Haven't spent alot of time on the board lately, but is a pleasant surprise to see how this project has developed.

This is part of post#2 from this thread

Great post and looking forward to the skin!

Also if anyone is interested in a making a logo for the folding, feel free  It asked and I am pointing to a fake one currently.

We could submit the finished product(s) to Grinler too. :flowers:

TMack, I now have lines that i can color and have a few out there with blue lines and Pinkish text.

nn23 the program I use is called The GIMP For Windows it is open scorce software (which means free) that (in my opinion) beats the pants off of its $80 counterparts.
It can be Downloaded at www.sourceforge.net just search for GIMP windows

I thought it was a little big but i'm gonna try making a bar style like yourhighness working on it if your highness can pass me his Sig size in pixels I can duplicate the size to exact. Also working on a little animation for it (if this is against the rules PM me but I didnt see it in there)
Muchas apologies. I had no Internet for four weeks. I can still give you the dimensions, but from flying over this thread, it seems solved. I might have a look at creating a F@H banner sometime tonite, depends on time at hand.

regards,

Johannes

I meant the bar which is not your sig. I find it beautifull with the proteine in it but use red as a color for the words...
