I don't think it can be updated while dis-connected from the internet.

I have updated trojanhunter manually this way before but I don't think you can install from safe mode
a custom made bart bootcd is the only thing I have been able to come up with besides for some verbotten tools -------------------- Chewy

Oh so you mean download the update files from another computer then transfer them to the computer you are talking about and then update? Yeah, that should be possible, I think I have done that with AVG 7.5.

to clarify, the scanner must be able to be installed while in safe mode
we are assuming windows xp will not boot in normal mode -------------------- Chewy
