The first contest is the HP Magic Giveaway, which is underway as of November 28th. More information can be found at this topic, which will be updated very soon with further information. The second contests, is for the chance to win two Seagate FreeAgent external hard drives. More information about this contest can be found here. These are both amazing contests and I suggest everyone submit an entry for them. - BleepingComputer Management |

Troubleshooting: Inability to configure the Windows XP firewall
Windows Firewall options are grayed out CAUTION: This step involves making changes in the registry. Always back up your registry before making any changes. If you are not familiar with working in the registry, then you should NOT attempt to make any changes on your own. Improper changes to the registry could adversely affect your computer and render it inoperable. Note: When Windows Firewall is configured in an organizational network using Group Policy, depending on the GP settings, some of the local Firewall configuration options might be grayed out and not unavailable (even for local administrators). -------------------- "THE BAD GUYS DON'T NEED A SEARCH WARRANT.
