New Member Group: Members Posts: 2 Joined: 22-June 07 Member No.: 138,324	G'day Usama... I bought an ASUS Pro 31P Notebook with Vista pre-installed. I emailed Asus to see if I could install XP Pro instead but received no reply. Do you know if this particular machine can be 'downgraded'. I did find on their site a list of XP drivers for this model but what do I do with them and which ones do I use.. in other words is there a sequence of steps to follow... if you could point me in the direction (or to a website) i would appreciate... fraz

The next most important thing is to ensure that you've got the drivers that are listed in Device Manager (unless there's something that you don't want to use). It'll show you a red x or a yellow ! if the drivers aren't installed. From that we can attempt to locate the drivers - but first install the drivers from the Asus website in the order suggested in my link above. -------------------- - John If you need a more detailed explanation, please ask for it.
