AOL won't quit

AOL won't quit, aol keeps running all the time

New Member Group: Members Posts: 2 Joined: 16-March 05 Member No.: 14,563	I can't delete the aol 9.0 from the computer. It seems to be running all the time in the background trying to logg on all the time. I tried to dlete it throguh add/delete and the message comes up to exit the one that is running........

Go to Start>Run> and type in msconfig. Under the start up tab remove the check mark from anything related to aol. Open Internet Explorer and go to Tools>Internet Options and under the connections tab highlight the aol connection and click remove. Reboot your computer and go to add/remove programs and uninstall aol.
