Windows Vista Home Premium, Advanced beginner finds solution from this site

I recieved the solution from member, Pivopija. He suggested merely to turn off system restore, re-start the computer and turn it back on. Drive C went from 76.7 GB, up to 91.5 GB. The total space is only 103 GB. A real success story for me, as I have a long history of using a computer with VERY little free space at all. Thanks again to Pivopija, and of course bleeping computer!

Can't decide what to use, so I won't use anything. Group: Global Moderator Posts: 13,296 Joined: 6-May 04 From: SW Louisiana Member No.: 363	You can also reduce the amount of space used by System Restore. Right-click My Computer. Select Properties, and click the System Restore tab. Under Disk space usage, you can drag the slider to the left, to reduce the amount of harddrive space used for System Restore. Set it to what you feel comfortable with. Click Apply. Click OK. I have mine set to 4% (1512 MB), and have 2 months of restore points. This is with a 40 GB harddrive. -------------------- I love being married. It's so great to find that one special person you want to annoy, for the rest of your life.
