I downloaded combofix, which found additional corrupted files. Please help, I not very computer savy and im afaid im going to ruin my computer if I keep messing with it |

There are differences to the way you can run chkdsk. You need to be certain you use a least 1 switch. I usually use the /r, which will allow chkdsk to repair any problems it finds. To see all of the switches, do a CHKDSK /?.
I would first try doing another chkdsk, from a command line and with at least switch /r. BTW. ComboFix is not intended to fix corrupted files and is not for the inexperienced to use. It can really mess up your system if not used properly. Good luck. DR -------------------- |
