I have xp with a tuner in it and no EPG program [unless I pay for one]. I have vista on my laptop. I would like to use vista's MCE to download the EPG and then transfer it to xp.

I don't see what your issue is. It seems to me that you should download what you need on the Vista system (making sure you get the XP version) and then transfer it to the XP system.

If only life was that simple. Vista expects me to have a tuner installed [which I can't], before I can even set up the electronic TV guide. so far I've been enable the TV Guide[through the registry], but when I try to use it it asks me to install a tuner card.
