Internet Explorer Crashes On Every Media Application

Hi,

Everytime i watch or listen to anything through internet explorer, in about 2 minutes it crashes, and doesnt recover itself unless I restart the laptop.
There are no warning signs, either before or after, and it just freezes and stays like that unless i press "end task" or exit it through windows task manager.
I installed Firefox, but the same problem happened there too.
Any ideas?

Are the media players you've tried, the current versions of Windows Media Player, Quicktime and Real Player?

Yes, they are, for example videos in youtube and music like myspace.

try firefox with all appropriate addons

What else are you running at the same time as youtube and music? Did you recently install a new program which may be causing conflicts with other apps? Did you recently have any malware? Are you running ie6 or ie7? All ie updates current?

I did try firfox, and it had the same problem aswell.

I only run for example youtube at one time without any other programs opeded.
This problem has been going on for a while, so i dont know if i installed any new program at the time it started.
I have scanned my computer with several trusted programs, and they have not found any major threats.
I am currently running IE7 and I even tried reinstalling it, and yes its up to date.
