The first contest is the HP Magic Giveaway, which is underway as of November 28th. More information can be found at this topic, which will be updated very soon with further information. The second contests, is for the chance to win two Seagate FreeAgent external hard drives. More information about this contest can be found here. Changing the Mail Notification Sound in Opera Guide Overview This Guide will show you how to change the E-mail notification sound, in Opera, to any sound you want to use. The sound you use, needs to be in the .wav format. Instructions Open Opera, and go to tools > mail and chat accounts Click your email > edit > incoming > Tick (play sound when new messages arrive). Then, click (choose), navigate to the file you want to use, and double click it. Click Ok > Click close. You are ready!! These instructions also work for the Linux, and Mac, operating systems. Note: If the sound you want to use is in the .mp3 format, instead of .wav, you will have to convert it. This can be done using a free program like Audacity sound editor. You can find the directions to convert an .mp3 file, to a .wav file here: This post has been edited by DASOS: Feb 24 2008, 05:33 AM -------------------- |
