Using Audacity to Convert Audio Files



Guide Overview

This Guide will show you how to use Audacity, to convert an .mp3 file, to a .wav file.

Tools NeededInstructions

  1. Install the program, double click to run it. You'll see this:




  2. Click > file > open > find the song you want to use, double click to load it, and you'll see this:




  3. Click to listen the song then left click, and drag, to highlight the part of the song you want to use.


    Then go to file > export selected as .wav

    Choose a folder to save the file to, name it, and select Save.

    That's all there is to it. smile.gif
