Just wondering what are some of the other forums you all go to when you need help. I know for me that one forum is never enough. At least I have yet to find the one that has been able to answer all of my questions. Please don't name off this forum, since we are all on it, or google.

When things go wrong with specific programs, or seem to be different after an upgrade. I have found the users' forums helpful - just reading other people's threads can be enough.

The AVG Free forum http://forum.grisoft.cz/freeforum/ and ZA Users' forum http://forums.zonelabs.com/zonelabs are two that I have visited.

Otherwise BC is my home and source of all information!

I used to be a forum gypsy so the ones I went to are too numerous to mention. But I did have a hand in maiking up the lists of forums at Calendar of Updates:
http://www.dozleng.com/updates/index.php?showtopic=190
http://www.dozleng.com/updates/index.php?showtopic=144

I've settled down now that BC is my home, and, like luci mostly just go to product support forums--see the second link above. And some security sites. Was addicted for quite a while to Net-Integration and Spywareinfo.

I might as well add my own

Neowin http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php
Castlecops http://castlecops.com
[H]ard http://hardforum.com
Trilogy Group http://fearweb.net/pub1 (down at the moment)

As you can see there's only about 4 that I regularly visit for computer help. Sometimes I don't feel that is enough. Most of the places I go to have pretty knowledgable people, but sometimes they just aren't persistant enough in their efforts to help out and your post will get buried without receiving help. Which of course is why I'm looking for more good forums to go to.

Although it wasn't allowed to be said, I'll say it anyway... tongue.gif

BC is the only place I turn to for computer help. And other reasons, too.

I'm a longtime member at VDR, my first computer help forum membership. I am also registered at Mozilla's forum, Agoraquest, TomCoyote, Computing.Net.

I must be one of very few who turn for help at only one site but honestly, I find everything I need here. BC is second to none. Everything I have asked at the other places were solved here. Agoraquest is a site for Sony owners. I needed help with my large screen TV and posted a question back in late September 2004. I waited 2 weeks and still had no reply. So I asked here. My problem was solved in less than 2 hours. BTW - I checked Agoraquest just last week. My post is still lonely - not a single reply.
I joined TC merely for their HJT Classroom. No offense to TC or its other members but it's not for me. Computing.Net - I joined for Mozilla help and help for online games. Not a happy camper there either. Even Mozilla's forum didn't provide many answers.

You asked, I answered. BC is all I need. But I do try to offer help at those other places I've mentioned. They just fail in comparison. smile.gif

but I prefer BC because I like the Invision Board better than php boards. And that this place has a really big community. smile.gif

I sometimes go to Gamewinners for my pc help. It's nowhere near specialized, but there's a guy there name RedRooster that's pretty knowledgable about general stuff. It's mainly a video game forum though.

I have used a few help forums in the past. Now I just use BC here mainly. Here are the ones I like the best.

Net~Integration

Calendar of Updates

I lurk at a lot of forums tho. They are just so many and I couldn't begin to post all the links LOL Like Papakid said above. I am rather a forum junkie too. whistling.gif
