My problem is i placed the card into my computer, everything went smooth, but when i plug my moniter into the card, nothing shows up so i plugged my moniter into my old spot and it worked, so i searched online as to how to install this thing properly (i also installed the drivers for it) but when it told me to uninstall my current drivers, so something in BIOS, and all that jazz. I got so lost i ended up somehow deleting my ethernet port, and some other things. So i restored my computer to an earlier date, and now am trying to find help. But my local geeksquad wont answer their phone.
So now i come to you guys, any help would be awesome.

When the computer is turned off:
Turn on the computer and immediately press either the F1 key or the F2 key at one-second intervals to enter the BIOS setup utility.
When the computer is running:
Restart the computer. As soon as the computer begins to restart, press either the F1 key or the F2 key at one-second intervals to enter the BIOS setup utility.
Enter the BIOS Setup Utility and go to the Advanced screen. The option to disable onboard video may be found under Peripheral Configuration.
Then turn off the computer and connect your monitor to the video card and restart and see if the video works.

Do you have the power supply connector attached correctly?
http://www.evga.com/support/KnowledgeBase/Default.asp
This video card has power supply requirements:

Is this your computer?

Looks like it has a 300watt power supply, it probably is the power supply, can you get any information off the side of the power supply?
I would look into your power supply before you give up.

I also looked all over my motherboard for a pci-e spot to place the connector and found nothing. I am also looking at this website about my Mobo
http://support.gateway.com/s/MOTHERBD/FIC/.../105553tc.shtml
and can still find nothing about connecting this 6pin connector from my psu

See if this will help you, its a lot of information and you may not need much of it, but if you scroll down half way or little more, you will see pictures of X1 and X16 video connectors and hopefully maybe some instructions you may have missed.
I have to go for a while, I will check back.
