Important Announcement: We have two terrific contests running on the site that I wanted all our members and guests to know about.

The first contest is the HP Magic Giveaway, which is underway as of November 28th. More information can be found at this topic, which will be updated very soon with further information.

The second contests, is for the chance to win two Seagate FreeAgent external hard drives. More information about this contest can be found here.

These are both amazing contests and I suggest everyone submit an entry for them.

Hi sheikmabooty

This is what you should be looking to achieve for your local network.

I called my Desktop FAMILY, the portable VISTA and my workgroup Mshome.

Attached File  Capture1.GIF ( 23.85k ) Number of downloads: 5
Screen Shot of physical connection of Local network to Live box and Internet. Do not worry about the switch and gateway they are all part of the Livebox.

Attached File  Capture.GIF ( 9.48k ) Number of downloads: 3
Screen shot with windows explorer open and showing all the folders I have marked for sharing on the network.

Attached File  Capture2.GIF ( 46.38k ) Number of downloads: 5
Screen shot of permissions

I hope this all works

Best wishes
