How to remove XPCleaner (Removal Instructions) What this programs does: XPCleaner advertises itself as program that protects your privacy by scanning your computer for risks and alerting you to them. The problem with this program is that when it scans your computer it will display false and exaggerated security risks and will only remove these so-called risks if you first purchase XPCleaner. This method of displaying exaggerated or false results, and then requiring you to purchase the program before you can fix anything, is a scam and places this program into the category of rogue security programs.
