Uninstall alot of them toolbars and Norton, I have vista too and just have avg free running does me fine, I find vista secure anyhow you can go into Msconfig go to start run type msconfig then start up untick all things except avg and things you want to start up,alot of people dont need 1/2 the things in there to start up, I have msn messenger , avg, addmuncher etc, not many... so that's a start id say to uninstall alot of that crapware here is a picture of msconfig what mine looks like only have the things ticked you want to start up with pc ok.. oh forgot when you reboot if you see a box come up saying something just tick dont show next time...that's only because you unticked things changed it This post has been edited by bigben1: Feb 15 2008, 09:00 PM
