Ever since I upgraded to SAS4, it takes 2-3 seconds to scan just one MP3 file. Since I have more than 10,000 MP3s on my computer, I figure it would take SAS 10-12 hours just to scan all those MP3s.

Question: Is there a way to disable scanning for MP3s in SAS? I'm asking since I did not see this option available in scan preferences, although perhaps I'm not looking in the proper place.

Thank you.

Jeff

If they are all in one folder you can set that folder to be skipped.
Right click icon . Select View Control center,
Under Scanning Control Tab,click Manage Excluded folders
Clck add search for file you want to skip.
