Thought I'd give everybody a heads up regarding the video card industry. Now that NVIDIA has acquired Ageia, it's likely that they will integrate PhysX into their video cards, and ATI will have their work cut out for them.
I was about to upgrade my video cards, but now that I know this, I'm going to wait patiently and see how much those PhysX/video cards will be (I'm guessing it'll only be available on the 8800 series or up). Not only that, once those new cards come out, the prices for the existing ones will drop like a brick.
So, if you're thinking about upgrading video cards, my advice is to wait, although it could be a bit of a wait.
