I had a folder where I put my videos and some of those videos were flv files so I recently installed StormCodec to play the files, but now the folder will not open. I do not think its the program because I uninstalled it after the folder wouldn't open. When I open the folder the folder restarts. Here is the error.

The module that's faulting is MPEGSplitter - have you installed this program by ArcSoft? If so, I'd recommend uninstalling it and then testing to see if it fixes your issues.

There isn't much information about this program on the web - so I can't say if it's compatible with Vista or not (nor can I vouch for it being safe).

I un-installed anything that had to do with haali splitters and codecs and the folder now opens without restarting. Now I'm just going to reinstall the programs until I find out which one messes up. Thank you usasma!
