hi
using word
When I apply a theme through the Format menu, it shows the
horizontal line which matches the theme. However, when I draw a line or
apply a border it is the standard plain straight black line, not the one
as shown in the theme. How do I get it to look like the one in the
theme, please.

can anyone help me?

Not being a word expert, BUT I used to have similiar problem.

In Word ensure Drawing tool bar is shown and then select Line Type. There are seperate choices for Size and shape..........or Highlight Your existing Line and then select line type.

This allows you to change Thickness, shape, colour and appearance.

:thumbsup:
