Internet Explorer freezing

Hi there, any help would be much appreciated.

When i try to open up links or new windows it completely freezes. Meaning that i have to end task through the task manager to shut it down. I have tried running all sorts of scans with no luck. Does anyone have any ideas to the cause of this? I've also tried to re-install IE.

Also certain website (for example www.bbc.co.uk) cause it to instantly crash when visited.

Are you using IE 6 or IE 7?

Do you get any error messages?

Using IE 7 but no error messages appear, just totally freezes.

Follow the instructions in IE7 Crashes or Hangs.
