Winword.exe Entry Point Not Found

When I am launching Microsoft Word I get the following error message

WINWORD.EXE - Entry Point Not Found
the procedure entry point MesrageBeep could not be located in the dynamic link library USER32.dll

any help would be great

You might try the Repair option in MS Office

If that doesn't help and you have your Windows disk, you can run sfc /scannow
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310747
Also make sure Windows is fully updated
