I have a dell system running windows XP home. The system has a 120 Gb SATA HD. I purchased an 80 Gb Ultra ATA HD about a year ago. It was installed in a system that is no longer in use. The HD manufacturer is Maxtor. I am wondering if I can install the ultra hd into the dell system and use it as a slave to the SATA or will I run into problems. Need some help. Thanks.

SATA and ATA use different connectors to the mobo, but providing you have a free ATA IDE connector you should be able to use the 80gb.
