I have XP home SP2 with IE7.

I want to make Yahoo Mail my default email program ----- without downloading and installing Yahoo Messenger. Is there a way?

Have a look at this http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/settings/
I don't use Yahoo Mail but I presume you have a client to view it. So you can configure it via Internet options.

Hope that helps!

trapper, did the link provided by Tomo2 solve your problem? I use Yahoo! email, among others, and access it both as webmail and as POP3 mail using Outlook. If you are stuck, I would be glad to try to help you.

Regards,
kudzu
