When I turn on my computer I get a "Windows can not start up because the following file is missing or corrupt \winnt\system32\config\system. I don't have a recovery disk or any of the original disk. Is there something I can download online to fix this? Please help.

If you don't have the recovery disk or the original install disk you're probably out of luck.
There's a Registry Repair Tool that can be downloaded from Microsoft. You might try get that using someone else's PC and burn it to cd but you'll still have problems getting it onto your computer unless it happens to be a self booting repair utility.

Here's some more help for you.

Good Luck.
