Welcome to Bleeping Computer, a free community where people like yourself come together to discuss and learn how to use their computers. Using the site is easy and fun. As a guest, you can browse and view the various discussions in the forums, but can not create a new topic or reply to an existing one unless you are logged in. Other benefits of registering an account are subscribing to topics and forums, creating a blog, and having no ads shown anywhere on the site. When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix logs. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.
To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

As some of you may or may not know, we have a section of the forums for assistance with malware known as the "HijackThis Logs and Malware Removal" forum. This is the only forum in which HijackThis Logs should be posted. However, we have new members seeking assistance that may not be familiar with exactly where logs should be posted or who may respond to them with advice. Sometimes logs are posted in other forums by those who are not sure where to post them. When you see a log posted in the wrong forum, please do not reply to it or post to send the member to the correct forum. Were we to permit some members to reply to HijackThis logs or give advice, then we would have to allow other members to do the same. Not knowing the background or training of such posters, we could not vouch for the accuracy or safety of the instructions provided. Thus, only trained members of the HJT Team, HJT Senior Classmen, Moderators or Administrators are allowed to help people with logs. Further, replying to HijackThis logs adds extra work for our moderating staff in that the reply must be removed before moving the log. If we don't do this, a HJT Team member, looking for a new log to work may assume another HJT Team member is already assisting that person and not open the thread to respond. This can result in a delay to assisting members who need help with cleaning their computers. We would greatly appreciate those helpers that want to assist and guide our members, to please post a link to the wayward HijackThis Log, in the Misplaced Hijackthis Log Links Thread. In this way it is just a simple matter of Staff moving the log, and not the extra steps in cleaning the thread prior to moving it. We thank each and every one of our helpful members trying to point those other members in the right direction. We do appreciate your efforts.
