looking in
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic34773.html

it would appear that the link to adaware SE ( which program is now virtually obsolete) from

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial48.html

goes to adaware 2007

also; the link to Stinger

http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/ strangely goes to a link dated

'This version of Stinger includes detection for all known variants, as of February 2, 2006' '

I find THIS odd as I have an active Stinger EXE on my computer dated Sep 10th 2007

and on a google search I cannot locate ANY Stinger update beyond the 2006 date

curious or what?

have gremlins struck perhaps?
I had also posted elsewhere a link TO stinger

http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/

which did go TO the September 2007 update ; but now does NOT; odd or what?

Not a big fan of linking to file sites for these types of files. Will try to find the official link
