I am running Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005.

I have used Lotus word pro 98 for some time now without problems and i decided to upgrade to a new release, I bought Lotus smartsuite on a CD and I uninstalled lotus 98 and then I installed the new version.

now, every time i move pictures around in wordpro my document, it crashes.

It will also crash every time I include a table in my document; it will either crash;
1) when I try to enter content into the table;
2) when i try to move the table; or
3) it will hang when I press save, then crash
then I lose all my work sad.gif

When it crashes I get one of two error signatures pop up and they are:
AppName: wordpro.exe AppVer: 99.8.208.800 ModName: wordpro.exe
ModVer: 99.8.208.800 Offset: 0004cb28

and:
szAppName: Wordpro.exr SzAppVer: 99.9.208.800 sZModName: hungapp
szModver: 0.0.0.0 offset: 00000000

I cant find out what's causing it so I uninstalled the entire smartsuite and installed it again but wordpro still crashes.

can anyone help me or should I just go back to using Lotus 98?

I've never used Lotus, but I did read that 9.7.1 was buggy as heck, that's why I asked
