Hi folks,

trying to install software for my old pal formula force ex force feedback wheel. But the installation is being interrupted and it says, that a file called hidusb.sys is being required from the win xp pro cd. But I can not find this file on the cd.

If I use the wheel without the software, there is absolutely no force feedback...

Could somebody please help with this?

My config is:

OS: Win XP Pro SP 2
MB: ASUS A7V600-X
RAM: 1,5 GB
CPU: AMD XP 3200+
Graphics: ATI Radeon X 1600pro / direct x 9.0c

Thanks!!!

You might try reloading the USB drivers

THANKS GUYS !!!

Found it in the system32 folder! After I entered the path, it asked for some more files. But luckily I found them all in this folder... Just wondering, why it couldn't copy them during installation - Isn't that just exactly what an installation program should do???

Whatever, now I am a bit more happy man!!!
All the best for You!
