I set up a Linksys wireless range extender to increase the signal to my side of the house. The router is on the other side of the house, and it's signal strength on my side is 30-40%, wheras the range extender's signal is 80-90% (I get the percents with the XIRRUS wifi monitor gadget for the vista sidebar). The problem is, even though the strength of the extender's signal is stronger than the router's, sometimes my computer jumps to the router's weaker signal. Is there any way to make it so that I stay only on the extender's signal?
