Hi,
Everytime my computer starts up a window pops up that says "osCheck has stopped working." In addition to this my Internet Explorer no longer works even though i know have a good internet connection.
The weird thing is that my Internet Explorer works in Safe Mode. Can anybody help me with this? I will probably take it to someone but i wanted to ask on here first. Any and all help or suggestions are appreciated, thanks!

Hi sarah-m, and  to BC!

A Google search shows that this is related to Norton. Is that your AV software?

You probably won't need to take your computer to the shop just for this; the experts here are great at straightening out such problems. I suggest you PM a moderator or administrator and ask to have this thread moved to a more appropriate forum, where you'll get the attention you need.

Good luck!

It could be that in addition to osCheck, you may still have some remnants of Norton on the system. Here's a handy mini-guide that should help with that problem: How To Completely Remove Norton Security Products.

You might want to start a new thread in Web Browsing/Email and Other Internet Applications for the IE issue, with a link to this thread, in case the problems are related.
