BleepingComputer.com: Catalyst

I have an ATI Radeon X700 video card, an ATI 650 Pro tuner and am running Catalyst version 1.2.2545. System used for TV and running movies and works just fine. But, Catalyst keeps popping up on the screen for no apparent reason. Any ideas on how to stop this. Thanks

if you go into

START>>RUN "msconfig"
to to the "Startup" tab
you should be able to disable the ccc (catalyst control centre) from there.
you should be able to still use your applications but this shouldnt keep popping up.

OR

you can simply open the ccc and look for the option that says do not load with windows, or enable/disable at startup.
