Hey guys, I have a DVD player connected up to a surround sound system with the screen connected to the DVD Player. The screen is a VGA Monitor and I noticed that my DVD player was able to play through a computer screen which is why I have a VGA monitor plugged in it. Your probably thinking, why dont you just put a TV in it, but there a problems blocking it, main reason it will take up too much room, parents will not allow a TV in my room yet, which I can fully udnerstand and I am sure you would. So, basically, I am wondering if i can connect AV cables to the VGA monitor so that I can connect things like the PlayStation2 into it. If you guys can help me or have any suggestions, it would be very much appreaciated. Thanks!

To make it simple, I mean as in connecting a PlayStation2 for example to the computer monitor.

Here's a google search for that product if I read your post correctly: http://www.google.com/products?hl=en&c...=1&ie=UTF-8

Be alert for the TV to PC rather than the PC to TV - it's very confusing when scanning the ads in the above search

If your DVD player has inputs for connections from your PS2 e.g composite Video and Red/White stereo then I can't see why you wouldn't be able to passs the signal from your PS2 thorugh your DVD player to your monitor. What make is your DVD player, just out of interest? It would be the first DVD player I've herd of that can output to a monitor!

Ok thanks usasma, I'm checking out the site right now.

Yes FireKracker, that is the only DVD Player I know of or have ever seen that has VGA output on it, I have already checked if I could run the Ps2 etc through the DVD player to the screen. But, unfortunately it doesn't work because you cant do that. I am sure the has to be some way to do this.

and before I forget my DVD player is a Dvx Digital DVD Player.
