Hi Im a newbie here can anyone offer any assistance please
I bought an Acer aspire 5050 as a back up machine and used it while my desktop was in the shop
On returing to use it again 6 wks later i cant remember my user password as i don't usually use one, is there any ways to reset this it keeps asking for administrator disc but I never got one, where can I get one
thanks for any help

Hi, welcome to BC!
It is probably asking you for an administrator password reset disk. Was you account the administrator? if not then boot into safe mode and log on as the System Administrator and remove the password on your other account.
