"macrovision Software Agent Has Stopped Working"....help!

I continue to receive the error pop-up....."macrovision software agent has stopped working".

Does anyone know how I can repair this.

I am using a HP Pavillion dv2000.

gkstiper - Did you end up getting a solution for this problem? I haev the same now on my HP laptop with Vista!
