I got a new printer and it says that it has wifi and a ethernet port can i use that as a wireless hotspot because that would be GREAT

No, they can't be used as an "Access Point" and to tell the truth, the Wireless function is not always that great either, depending on the model of printer/router combination as well as some other things.
