Hey guys, I was just wondering what are some good programs or program, that checks the temperature of all the hardware (CPU, Hard Drive, Ram etc.) and tells you if one of them are at a temperature that can damage it or the computer.

Thanks usasma, I have tried SpeedFan before and I just got 4 different temperatures with the 3rd one being 66 and had a flame logo on it. It didnt tell me which piece of hardware it was either. Is there any others?

You can check Speedfan for the sensor that's reading that them, then compare to your motherboard specs to figger out which is which.

Or, you can use the "finger test". Open up the computer case (unplug it first and ground yourself on the metal of the case). Then place your finger near (BUT NOT ON!!!) the CPU cooler and the graphics cooler. Whichever is hotter is the one! 66 degrees C will be noticeably hotter than the others (even if the other is running at 50 degrees C).

my everest home report(plain txt)

Quote

Temperatures:
Motherboard 27 °C (81 °F)
CPU 31 °C (88 °F)
GPU 39 °C (102 °F)
GPU Ambient 33 °C (91 °F)
DW CDW63G0-D00NF0A 39 °C (102 °F)
Seagate ST3250823AS 41 °C (106 °F)

speedfan doesn't identify as much, and doesn't generate a plain text report

screenshots are a waste of time
