Hi;

I am a real boob when it comes to hardware. I use adobe premier to edit video. recently purchased a sony video camera that is analog. $$$$$$$

I know I need a converter. Will not be doing any thing but editing video from the camera no old video or such junk. Landed a contract from a dragstrip web site.

Will some point me in the right direction? Someone recommend Canopus.

thanks
tony

Well...I would recommend Canopus but I wouldn't buy it :thumbsup:.

I would not have enough usage out of it to make it worthwhile, but you may.

I've never used a converter device from a 3d party, it's alway too convenient to just run it through a VCR and capture card, considering subject matter and quality I desired.

Don't know if you are familiar with this, but you may want to visit http://www.videoguys.com/ and let them help you do some research.

Louis
