Hello,
I already have 2 IDE HDDs, it was my intention to install a SATA II HDD as this is available onto my MB. But I have no more physical slots available in the case.
Can I install an external SATA II (or e-Sata, what is the difference?) HDD using a SATA PCI Card adapter so that I link the SATA connector (7 pin) of my MB to the PCI card and link the eXternal SATA driver to the PCI Card?
Can I expect the same performance as with an internal SATA II HDD?
Where to find the PCI card ?
Thanks in advance.
