NEED HELP TO GET RID OF TROJAN, TROJAN VIRUS

New Member Group: Members Posts: 1 Joined: 28-February 05 Member No.: 13,164	HOW DO YOU GET RID OF TROJAN VIRUS. I AM ASKING FOR MY BROTHER-N-LAW. THEY HAVE MCAFEE VIRUS SCAN AND IT SAYS THAT THEY HAVE THE TROJAN VIRUS. IT SAYS THAT THE TROJAN HAS BEEN DELETED AND THE FILE PATH C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\RVNTI9ZEPCD1.DLL WAS INFECTED BY AD-CLICKER-AF. BUT EVEN THOUGH IT SAYS THAT IT HAS BEEN DELETED, THEY ARE STILL HAVING ALOT OF TROUBLE WITH THEIR COMPUTER SUCH AS THEY HAVE TROUBLE GOING ONLINE AND WHEN THEY CAN GET CONNECTED THE WEB PAGES WON'T DISPLAY AND THEY CAN'T GET A FULL SCREEN AND THEY CAN'T CHECK THEIR EMAIL. I HAVE READ IN OTHER FORUMS THAT THEY NEED TO DOWNLOAD ADAWARE AND SPYBOT TO CLEAN THEIR SYSTEM BUT THEY CAN'T GET ONLINE TO DO SO. I THOUGHT THAT I COULD DOWNLOAD THEM TO A DISC FOR THEM BUT IT SAYS THAT I AM NOT AUTHORIZED TO DO THAT. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANKS DOWEN

Don't do anything until someone has analysed the log and they will tell you how to fix the PC.
