Code Oxc0000005 Must Shut Down Error While Trying To Run A Game Game is team fortress 2, runs via STEAM

My friend is getting the error code "oxc0000005 must shut down" when he tries to run the game TF2, all the other "steam" games work, but this one doesnt, how would he be able to fix this?

The error code relates to a hardware problem but there are a few things you can do to troubleshoot. http://aumha.org/a/stop.php#0xbe
What O/S is he running? All drivers been updated? Also DirectX updated.

Bug Check 0x5: INVALID_PROCESS_ATTACH_ATTEMPT
The INVALID_PROCESS_ATTACH_ATTEMPT bug check has a value of 0x00000005.

This bug check appears very infrequently.

Basically, thats the problem, how does he fix it?

Oh, And he is running XP
