Programs That Enhance Gaming?

I was wondering if programs such as gamehike or gamethrust actually work? Do they enhace the gaming experience? Like all other programs out there, they promise certain results but do they actually deliver? I would like to know if anyone has used such programs before and which one they find as the best before i go out and start installing. Thanks!

just get a better graphics card and upgrade your ram to the motherboards max for best gaming performance and best video playback.

look in newegg.com for great deals and good computer parts.

I don't know if those programs you mentioned actually do anything, but there are some things you can do to improve your computer a little bit. These would be more minor though compared to going out and buying better hardware.

If you're in doubt, try to find reviews of the programs to see if they really do anything and as something you have to buy, I'd be a little weary unless there are positive reviews.
