I want to apologize for the technical difficulties we had at Bleeping Computer over the weekend.

I have put steps in place so that this will not happen again.

It is possible that if you posted a question over the weekend that it did not go through properly. If you can not find your question, please post it again.

Please be patient as we get back on path with answering your posts. Thank you for your continuing patience and understanding.

Lawrence

Hi Grinler

I hope you were nice to your bleeping server when you got it bleeping going again. Seems we all suffer the same bleeps.

My withdrawl symptons are starting to recede more quickly now.

I'm with Leurgy here. The withdrawals were unbearable.
So wonderful to be back.
But even happier that you had some R&R.
Welcome home, Grinler.

No way, we just suffered together and shared 'battle wounds'. LOL

Let me say this though:

I love how we are like family here. We have an amazing group of
people here. It's often evident but not quite like this weekend.
Kudos to everyone.

It is funny to see others mentioning withdrawal symptoms because the glassy look has finally left my face and my hands have begun to stop shaking. I post on several different sites but BC is one of the two sites I consider home and not being able to get in here really broke up my internet routine.

It is good to see I was not alone in my feelings about coming here.

See you around

Ditto!

I'm one of the new kids on the block, but have enjoyed Bleeping Computer. You guys do good work... the pride shows, and family does too.

I also faced this problem for about 3 days when I was not able to access the posts on the forum.Though I was able to access the index all right but every time an attempt was made to open any post , my Opera reported about problem with the database at bleepingcomputer and returned "error 145".During the period no problem faced with other sites or forums.

It is good that things have come back to normal.

This is an outstandingly helpful forum and all accolades to the team of administrators & moderators.

However , one bug continues and that is logging onto the forum . In every session I have to relog every time i jump a forum or change posts.

For want of a better place I post this problem here and request solution be e-mailed to me.

MODS-feel free to shift this post to the correct forum.

It's good to have the site back up, and running.
The withdrawals were getting bad.

TG, please PM Yogi with that question or refer to his Win95/98*Grinler thread and reply it there. In case he doesn't refer back here. You'll probably want to let him know where he can see if his browser is set to allow cookies from BC.

Sure glad that got cleared up. I was cruising the river denial there for awhile! I don't like the idea of doing without my Bleeping Computer. Yes, I think I have acquired another habit, albeit a good one this time. You BC Peeps are alright in my book.
