The first contest is the HP Magic Giveaway, which is underway as of November 28th. More information can be found at this topic, which will be updated very soon with further information.

The second contests, is for the chance to win two Seagate FreeAgent external hard drives. More information about this contest can be found here.

i've just installed mcafee internet security on one of my laptops operating vista os, and since the installation was completed the laptop has been going crazy. upon start up after windows load, in less than 2 minutes the desktop will disappear and an error message pops up: Explorer.exe Application Error - "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click OK to terminate the application." A message appears stating "You are about to be logged off. Windows has encountered a critical problem and will restart automatically in one minute." Then it shuts down and restart. This continuously happens repeatedly and i can't do anything. I tried to uninstall the mcafee, do a system restore...but the errors/messages pop up before i can actually do something. how can i stop this? please HELP!!!!

Was there a particular reason for installing McAfee (did you suspect that you were already infected)? If malware is already present on your system it will fight the installation of anything that threatens it - which could be the cause of the problem here.

Try uninstalling McAfee - and then try a few, free online scans to see if your system is infected:
