I just bought my daughter a macbook and was sucessfull in setting up a network on my windows xp machine to allow her to copy files from the shared folders. However, I cannot seem to get the share to work correctly on the printer. I set the printer as a share, but cannot see it on the macbook. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, since I do not have alot of experience with the macbook. Thanks, Joyjg wacko.gif

Thanks for all the info, I did finally get the share to work on everything but the printer, which I now realize will not work without additional downloads on the macbook. Ending up buying a printer for the macbook to use. Thanks again for the replies and links. Joyjg
