how do i restore data from a corrupted multimedia card

If that doesn't work, many photo shops will now offer you that service, at a cost of about $30 per media card. I had a 256MB card that got corrupted and had to go that route.

You can also try a Card Reader instead of the Camera itself, if you haven't already.
