I have a Samsung tx-r2765 1080i CRT Non widescreen HDtv. When im playing xbox 360 games the image is stretched horizontally too much to where the sides are a little cut off. I've heard this called overscan.

Any ideas?

Are there any settings on the TV that can adjust the screen for wide screen image?

I just quickly tried looking up the TV and found this so that's why I ask.
http://products.howstuffworks.com/samsung-...y-tv-review.htm

"Four video presets make quick work of adjusting the picture for movies, bright conditions, or user-defined preferences, and the color can be adjusted to one of three settings. Movies can be viewed using 3:2 pulldown conversion, which adjusts the picture for TV viewing to eliminate uneven action."

Only thing ive seen in the menu is wide, which does take it to 16:9 aspect ratio, but the edges are still cut off the same amount. There is also zoom1 and zoom2, but im sure you know how terrible those are.

Update: Omg im so happy, i found out from another website if i hit Mute, 182, then power a menu will come up where i can adjust the picture and it worked. No more cut off :D
