Hello everyone, I'm a student who's studying for the PSAT/SAT Verbal Section and I would like to have a freeware flashcard program aiding my vocabulary studies. When I was working on a computer with Windows XP, I discovered CueCard... a phenomenal program; however, I'm now running on a laptop with Windows Vista and I can't find any freeware flashcard makers on the Internet.

Does anyone here know of a freeware flashcard maker, Vista compatible, that I've missed in my searches?

Thanks for your time and help! smile.gif

Just curious -

did you try CueCard on your Vista system?

Hi Elendil,

JohnWho is right, that you definitely should try running it in Vista. I have several old utilities that I couldn't live without that run just fine in Vista. The last release date for CueCard 1.5 is 2005, so if you can't run it as is on Vista, try running it in XP SP2 compatible mode. (Right click on the .exe file, click on Properties > Compatibility tab > Compatibility mode.)

As a last resort, you might try contacting the developer. Here's his website. It doesn't list his e-mail address, but you can find all his contact info at AboutUs.org.

Hope this helps, and good luck on the exams! thumbup2.gif

Thanks for the input and blessings! I'll be sure to try running CueCard on Vista... I didn't attempt it at first because it's compatibility seemed to be for only Windows XP; after my trial, I'll be sure to post how it went!

Thanks for your time! smile.gif

Good to see you well and back!
Of course, you could always buy some index cards and make them yourself!
Cheers,
John
