Just started my laptop up & the Battery Icon has gone from the system tray. I have tried to right click on the area & under the notification tab looked for the tick box but it is there but won't let me tick it. I have done a search on the troubleshoot & states that i have to have system administrator rights, i am!!! How do i get the icon in the notification area? I'm running windows Vista on an Acer aspire 5051, any help needed is much appreciated. |

Mine does that too sometimes. Generally, if you really want/need that icon, just restart. Should pop back into place.
