Just started my laptop up & the Battery Icon has gone from the system tray. I have tried to right click on the area & under the notification tab looked for the tick box but it is there but won't let me tick it.
I have done a search on the troubleshoot & states that i have to have system administrator rights, i am!!!
How do i get the icon in the notification area?
I'm running windows Vista on an Acer aspire 5051, any help needed is much appreciated. thumbup2.gif

Mine does that too sometimes. Generally, if you really want/need that icon, just restart. Should pop back into place.
